Onhweonhwe, Native American Indian portrait on sterling silver pendant by Shendaehwas

Item Description

Sterling silver .960 pendant with bone and glass beads, 27 inches max ajustable leather cord.

In most of my creations, I get my inspiration from and uses designs, symbols, themes from the Huron-wendat, iroquoian longhouse people, Native American Indian tribes from North America cultures and traditions, and also from Nature. Althought this indian face was mold from a one of a kind old native ring. I did this to honor the "unknown" artist and give a second life to his beautiful work.

onweonhwe in Huron-wendat or Onhgweonhwe in Mohawhk means "the real people". This is how we call ourselves in our languages.
