Shining Buffalo Soul Series, artisan fine silver pendant with opal by Shendaehwas

Item Description

Shining Buffalo Soul Series, honoring the buffalo and his return... Millions of buffalos have been killed in America to control and starve the Native people... Buffalos are sacred to Native people and we pray for their return. Beautiful animal, one I feel a close relationship with. I was inspired to create a Native American Indian medicine bag design in silver for this Serie because of the strong medecine of this animal.

Oops I sold this one but I have another similar one with a red opal, please contact me click on contact on the footer menu if interested.

One of a kind fine silver pendant ( 38mm (1 1/2 inch ) x 30 mm (1 1/8 inch)) with beautiful natural solid Welo Ethiopian opal. Check pictures for different colors reflecting in this opal. On genuine chocolate leather cord (3mm x 18" long).  Taken note that the pendant is in silver and on the photo, the purple on the silver part is a reflexion in the picture but it is not on the pendant... Also, buffalo rattle is not included and not for sale here.

Ethiopian opals have the property to absord water if immersed in water it will turn milky and the color reflections will dissapear until the stone dries... They are also harder that Australian opal.

All my artisan jewelry pieces are handcrafted in .999 fine silver. In most of my creations, I get my inspiration from and uses designs, symbols, themes from the Huron-wendat, iroquoian longhouse people, Native American Indian tribes from North America cultures and traditions, and also from Nature.

I make or mount all the leather cord necklaces, unless marked otherwise. I usually don't make the other stone necklaces or chains that are sold as a set with my pendants. Most of the time, I try to use solid .925 solid sterling silver for the little added parts like bails, chains, clasps, etc. when possible. Note that .999 fine silver is softer than .925 Sterling silver.
