Cuban jazz, my passion on the transverse flute!
I studied flute at the 'Conservatoire de musique de Québec and completed my Baccalauréat in interpretation- jazz and pop music at the University in Montreal. I specialized in latin jazz and studied in Havana at Instituto Cubano de la Musica with Maestro Richard Ëgues from Orquesta Aragon. I also studied at with Nestor Torrès at Florida International University, USA. I had the pleasure to attend the workshop Afrocubanismo given by some of the greatest cuban musicians like Carlos del Puerto, Miguel Anga, Richard Ëgues, Los Munequitos de Matanzas, Irakere, Changuito, etc. at the Banff Center for the Arts in Canada.
Also, I really enjoy playing for studio recording sessions for movies or other musicians.
